Account data: your name, phone number and, optionally, email address. Accounts are created with your phone number and a one-time code.

Order data: the products you buy, delivery address, and order history.

Payment data: payments are processed by our payment provider (BPay/Bankily). We store a masked reference to the transaction; we never store your full card number or mobile-wallet passcode.

Technical data: device and usage information, and cookies (see our Cookie Policy).

3. How we use your data

To create and secure your account, process and deliver your orders, send order and verification messages by SMS or email, prevent fraud and abuse, provide support, and improve the service.

We rely on your consent, the performance of our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in running a safe marketplace.

4. Who we share it with

Vendors: the seller of an item receives what they need to fulfil your order (name, delivery details, items).

Payment and delivery providers, and technical service providers (hosting, SMS and email) acting on our behalf.

Authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Retention and security

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal and accounting obligations. Phone numbers are stored encrypted and we apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.

7. Children

Soko is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
